DM #683: Random food for thought tonight.
Love me some compression socks, but throwing on those toe spacers afterwards ain’t the worst thing.
The minimalist footwear debate…not here to join it. 🤭 Just throwing it out there that your feet should more or less be able to do a lot of the stuff that your hands can. Without trying anything too crazy, let’s realize that the ability to splay your toes is pretty basic, pretty fundamental, and unfortunately pretty difficult for most people 😩.
So, if you’ve got footwear that helps promote that splay, tight socks are gonna work against you. Even if you don’t have minimalist footwear, but have some kicks that you feel have a wide enough toebox to allow for natural movement…it’s not a bad idea to make sure that your socks allow for the same 🤯.
