DM #670: The @crossfit Open is Over 🙌🏾 (for me).
Paid too much and bought the newest CrossFit documentary last night, and Mat (one T, I know 🤷🏽♂️) Fraser dropped this goodie. At first I was like 🤔. But then I sat with it for a second and I was like 😏.
If we break it down in CrossFit speak he’s basically saying that he trains all the things so that he can never say that one single thing is his best thing (because he’s good at ALL of the things), which also means that he’s rid himself of any one (or few) things being really bad for him.
Let’s apply this to general movement, shall we? Only work on certain things —> only get good at certain things —> increase your risk of getting hurt when doing other things that aren’t those certain things.
So, take-home: Move more.
