DM #679: Made a friend at Dinah and she said a thing.

I know that a lot of you out there have a gratitude practice, and I think that’s an amazing thing. @chicken.nap told me that her practice included listing TEN things she’s grateful for on a daily basis. Ten. That number seemed huge to me, and that’s when she said “You should never run out of things to be grateful for.” So. True.

Making a list that long might require you to dig a little deeper in that gratitude bucket, but she’s right, it shouldn’t be an impossible task. Grateful that you woke up today, grateful for your ability to move, grateful for the roof over your head, the food on your table, the friends in your corner. So much to be grateful for.

So, in a time where it’s easy to want more, wish for more, see what everyone else is doing on Instagram and crave that…take a moment to be grateful for what you do have. I bet it’s far more than you think.
