DM #30: BMs in the DM! ? Figured I'd keep with yesterday's theme and bring you some more bathroom talk. Plus, I'm currently driving through Iowa and this place is all cows, corn, and compost…aka ? fragrance for miles.
Anyway, when it comes to normal GI (gastrointestinal) function, our body relies on the diaphragm to provide a natural massage to our intestines to help keep “things” moving along. When we become chest breathers we fail to get that diaphragm to contract and move downwards when we inhale. This means that your colon and everything else doesn't get massaged, and things are more likely to slow down and get stuck.
Want to be as regular as the cows in Iowa? Make sure you're breathing properly. Inhale – belly goes out. Exhale – belly goes in.
