We love going fast. We love shortcuts. We love quick fixes. But unfortunately, sometimes, just sometimes, ya gotta give it more time. This is ESPECIALLY true when it comes to an injury. When tissue has to heal, it has to heal! Give it time.

How much time? As much as it takes. For those of you who have been following me for a bit, you know I hurt my hip and did quite a good number of posts my journey. I’m happy to say that I’m finally feeling about 95% better. Wanna know when I hurt me hip? August…2016! ? takes time. Even with being a PT, getting it worked on, doing my homework, and listening to my body, healing and resolution isn’t guaranteed to happen over night. And that’s not to be interpreted as me saying that it won’t happen at all. Because it can, and it will. But you MUST be willing to give it the time that it deserves.

So, tonight’s take home? All the mini-band drills in the world ain’t gonna speed up the hands on the clock when it comes to certain parts of recovery. Time is time, and like it or not, you gotta respect it. ??
