The funny thing about injuries is that we forget about them.
In the moment, they are all-consuming, and depending on the severity, that “moment” can last a long time.
But, barring any life-changing catastrophes, time passes, and we forget.
The major ones that leave scars of any kind, we remember. But even then there are times that unless we’re doing something that tugs at that scar and reminds us of how it changed us…we forget.
I was going through old video clips that I had used for an Instagram Reel in July of 2024, and came across a video of me with RockTape on my right elbow.
A UCL injury perhaps?
Honestly, I don’t know…because I don’t remember.
I sometimes wonder what else in life is like this.
Things that we treat as so important in the moment, because they are, but weeks, months, or years later…we just completely forget about them all together.
Maestro out.
