If you’re lucky enough to stick with your business for a long time, inevitably you’re going to feel bored. My bestie, Jill, always says that your business isn’t here to entertain you, and she’s right. Your enjoyment of the things in your life will ebb and flow, so why would it be any different for your business? Losing some of the excitement you had at the beginning doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with you or that it’s a sign to close up shop. It’s simply a part of process. Maybe that excitement will come again, or maybe it won’t. In the meantime, look for that excitement elsewhere, and keep doing the damn thing.
