DM #119: Did a quick video yesterday of me working on my hip ER, and it became immediately clear that I needed to follow it up with a DM.
Here's the deal folks. If you've got boney changes at a joint, that thing ain't going anywhere. I'm 99% sure that I've got femoral torsion at my right hip, and to that end, the drill I was performing yesterday was not an effort to improve my right hip ER, but rather to get it back to the same amount of mobility that I had prior to injuring it a few weeks ago.
Bone is bone is bone. You can wish that you had listened to your mom and not W-sat as a kid, but what's done is done. “That's one doodle that can't be undid, home-skillet.” ?
Point being, ABSOLUTELY work on what can be changed, but if you're unsure, get in, get checked, and make sure that that area can actually be changed! Sometimes simply keeping your current range of motion is just as important as gaining new range of motion.
