Just a little follow-up to yesterday's squat/set up position post. As you can see, Brenda and I are about the same height, however, our proportions are quite different. My longer leg length and shorter torso length necessitates more forward lean when in that bottom position.
Note: Shirts have been tucked in and shorts have been pulled up to waist height for demonstration purposes only ?
I know, I know, I've been doing a bunch of posts on the same topic, however, I find this stuff fascinating.
As an aside, as I mentioned in DM #67, anthropometrics are not an excuse for shitty positioning or crappy movement. You should still be able to get into the bottom of a squat, however it may just look a little different than someone who has more “ideal” measurements than you. That's all.
