DM #19: Stop blaming your body and start correcting your movement. The knee is just a poor middle child that gets blamed for everything, but is almost never the actual problem. Start asking to joint to do something it's not designed to do, start imparting force to an area that's not equipped for it, and heck yeah, you're going to have pain.
If your solution to this is simply to say, “I have bad knees,” and just avoid basic human movements like squatting, then you better be prepared for a whole lot more dysfunction down the road.

Yes, you have to treat the painful area and manage those symptoms. But you want to fix the problem? Start looking somewhere else. And while you're at it, make sure that those obliques are on board.
