Obligatory post from this morning's @rocktape FMT #RockBlades course demonstrating how to stimulate ruffini endings to down regulate tissue and decrease tone/tightness.

As described in yesterday's post, we teach different strokes for different folks…and outcomes. Receptors within the tissue respond to different stimuli and produce different outputs. We can use a tool to help guide the outcome based on the type of stimulus we give to the tissues. Ie fast, slow, light, firm, etc. Slow, deep pressure stimulates ruffini endings which in turn reflexively downregulates that area. Using RockBlades is way more than just scraping tissue and “breaking up” adhesions ?. Sensory input for motor output. Cool ?.

And yes, it feels as good at it looks. ?? And NO, bruising is not needed, warranted or indicated. Bruising is not better, better is better!??
