Hey, little friends, Meister here, bringing you another episode of my most favorite podcasts. If you're listening, tuning in, watching on the day that it drops, it is Monday, June Fucking Sanken. Welcome to June. It's here. The fact that it is June is 100% why I am recording this episode, and it's 100% the takeaway.

Of today's episode. Uh, so let's do a little work life updates first, and then we'll hop on into that, right? So right after that work, uh, updates, I've been hanging out still, rather, I should say, still been hanging out a ton with my bestie cha GPT. I fucking love it. I am obsessed with it. I'm getting, uh, we'll say, we'll use the, the quotation marks, the air quotes that you can't see if you're listening, uh, but getting ideas about things that I might wanna lean into work-wise.

Um, but it's just such a good fucking tool. 'cause it's also like, you don't have to do this and it's just, it's a great buddy to have to bounce ideas off of. Um, but I'm hanging out a ton. I'm loving it, I'm continuing to learn better way. I don't even wanna, I hesitate to say better ways to use it. Like just any way you use it is a great way.

Um, but do not forget that I put up an interest list last week. So if you're listening to this, just go fucking try out chat GBT. But if you're like. I want your help. Okay. I will very likely run something about how to use chat GPT at some point, when what? How much? I don't fucking know. I don't know, but if you're interested and you wanna make sure that you are updated, when I figure out what I wanna do, um, add your name to the wait list or the interest list, whatever you wanna call it.

Either way, uh, we got a link for you. It'll be in the show notes. Thank you, Courtney. Thank you, Joe. It is gonna be in for membership, the movement maestro.com/ai-waitlist. It'll take you to the, to the wait list. Just put your name on there. No obligation to buy anything. Literally none. Um, but if you just want the alert, I'll make sure that you get it.

Uh, what else? Next? Uh, tomorrow. So as the day that I'm, this drops tomorrow, uh, press, press, publish will start. So if you don't know, not surprising that you don't know, but, uh, press publish, which is hard to say, uh, is an eight week program that I just came up with. Literally, I just came up with it, but I just, I'm running for the first time.

That's what I meant to say. Um, where I help people launch their podcasts, guaranteed 100% you will launch your podcast. So it was a backend sale that I ran, or backend launch that I ran when I did my press record workshop. And I'm really fucking stoked about it. Um, there was no public launcher it this time.

It was just like, Hey, if you came to the workshop, you signed up for the workshop, then I got, you got the invitation to join this. Um. So if you don't know about it, that's why I never did a public launch with it. But I do have a wait list going for the next round if I run a next round. Um, and I, I put, I put one up, uh, I created a wait list, not because I'm definitely gonna run a next round, but because I understand that it summer is coming up and this is gonna tie into, I.

The full episode or the point of today's episode, summer's coming up, which is difficult for people to, to, to commit to things. Totally get that. Um, so I had some people be like, Hey, I want to do this, but like, summer's tough. And I was like, I get it. I totally get it. So I was like, Hey, if I do run it, get on the wait list.

If I do run it, you'll be the first to know. So wait list for that. If I run it, it's gonna be, uh, it's in the show notes. So again, thank you Courtney. Thank you. And jojo. Um, all that to say, both those announcements, there are those like updates there is that I'm continuing to, you know, push forward with figuring out what I wanna be doing.

And the universe has definitely given me some gentle nudges, and that's really cool, right? And if you happen to be in that, a phase of life like that, where you're like, I don't really know what I wanna be doing, wanna do next? Just keep going. All right, keep going. Day by day things pop up and, yeah. I'm, I'm, I'm excited about, about some possibilities.

So, life update wise, the weather has been great, right? We get May gr may, which should really be called May Morning Gray this year, um, because it burns off by about 11, but like every morning, most mornings it is gray, and then by 11 o'clock it gets sunny. Sometimes you say same for the rest of the day.

Sometimes it return, you know, the gray returns in the evening. Uh, but it's been great. But that's also why I am recording this. And if you are watching this, it looks a little bit different. This is the nighttime look because. The sun, right? Obviously because of the earth and we going around it, going on the sun, um, where the sun, how the sun hits the house changes throughout the year and it's really tough to record during the day unless I do it early.

Uh, so I was like, you know what? Fuck it. I'm gonna do it late. And so I was waiting for the sun to be fully down and that means I has to be like eight o'clock, which I love. I get these long days. I'm taking advantage of it. I'm working out still. I'm doing, you know, five days a week. I love it. Um. I actually lifted before this episode and it's great.

I'm just taking advantage of these long days. My knees are still feeling really good. I played like seven games of volleyball yesterday, which is huge, and I lifted legs today and I'm good. It's never wrong to be strong people. It's never wrong to be strong getting in band practice every so often with Elisa.

Uh, the electric sometimes Tiffany too, just depends. Um, but either way, the electric drunk kit that we got. It's working out real nicely. It's so fun. Uh, the light, I dunno if you remember the light in my truck and my truck, I mean, my Jeep, there was a, you know, an idiot light came on and it, it was the thermostat.

Uh, I'm sure that's the code that it threw, but it went off and it's been off. So I have all of the things that I need to fix it if it comes back on. But for right now, we're checking it off the list as. Done and dusted. That project is done. I, uh, Lex and I are watching a new show. I actually watched it before we had dinner, before I recorded this, and I was like, okay, I'm, I'm gonna go upstairs and record this real quickly.

Um, but we watched an episode of Shrinking. It's not actually a new show. Um, but it's new to us. Thank you. You know, shout out to uc. Uh, she put us onto it. It's on Apple tv. I highly, highly, highly recommend it if you're looking for a new show. Um, and you haven't seen it. You haven't watched it, it's great.

That's all I'm gonna say about it. You can make your own decisions. Besides that, uh, Lex and I are tentatively planning a trip, toad, that's Switzerland. Um, perhaps I've mentioned this before. Um, we were really hoping to do it next year. We're gonna go there to watch volleyball. Um, it, it makes sense financially and timewise to do it next year, but this is probably gonna be Kim's last run doing it.

That's like, you know, the, the volleyball friend that we have, the very close volleyball friend that we have, she stays with us. So I was kind of like yolo, you know, Yolo, uh, it's in a month. So I was looking at flights today and looking at points and just being like, all right, we, let's do it. Um, so we're gonna figure that out.

You'll know when I know. Uh, uh, but we do have a confirmed trip next week to see Kenny Chesney actually. The week that this drops, it'll be this week. Uh, so we'll be in Vegas, going to see Kenny Chesney at the Sphere. Um, I'm not like a huge Kenny Chesney fan. I'm not like against him or anything, but I was, he's like, I know a lot of his songs.

Um, but Coach Steven, our volleyball coach invited us and we were like, yeah. Why not? So we're going, I actually got us, uh, a room at the Virgin Hotel, which this is a little bit like a tan of a tangent here, but whenever I go to Vegas, I've historically sit at the Cosmo and sometimes you just like outgrow things.

It's fucking dark there. I'm old, I can't see shit. Uh, I'm ready for something else. So I actually, when I went and I spoke at, um, one of the con what I'm trying to remember, what conference it was. But they put us up at the, the conference was at the, that Virgin Hotel and I was like, I'd stay here for sure.

And uh, so I'm staying there and it's much cheaper than Cosmo. You know, there's so much to be said about a name, like, yes, there's restaurants in Cosmo and things like that, but you could like still go to the restaurants without staying there. Um, that potato man, that potato azuma, damn, I fucking love that potato.

Uh. We can go lots of places, right? Like you can just, you don't have to stay there. So I'm excited about it. Is this something different? Something we said about, you know, growing up and, and growing older and, and outgrowing things and, and being willing to try new things and different things and just valuing different things.

And I'm like, I really like the, when I go to Cosmo, I really like that they have a tub and they have a balcony, but. We're not gonna really be there that long to be going out in the balcony. Um, and this the place that Virgin has, you know, corner rooms and just cheaper prices, better room, bigger rooms. And I'm like, you know what?

Let's do it. So I'll let you know how that goes and that stay goes, uh, when I, when I get back. So, next episode. When, but all this brings me to the, the main point of today's episode. I, if perhaps you're listening to these life updates and you're being like, damn, maestro. Just leaning into all the things.

Doing all the things. Yep. That is the point. Especially right now, y'all know that I'm real big into seasonality and sp and spiral reality. Um, checkout. We will link that in the show. Thank you Courtney. And jojo, the episode with Emily Reed, which she talks all about that, but she always comes back around, right?

It always comes back around. Most recent example. Uh, I am recording this on Memorial Day and every year we play volleyball on the Sunday before my Memorial Day, right? Memorial Day is the last Monday of, of every May, and so we play on Sunday and y'all know that I stay preaching, write things down, write down what's going on in the year, write down the seasons, write down how you're feeling, write down what you're doing.

Why? Because it all comes back again the next year and you can't, this way you won't be like, I never knew because it literally comes back in the next year. So for the past four years, I've written down. About playing on Sunday. Prior to Memorial Day that getting a court is actually not a problem. Right.

Folks don't seem to get there early. Uh, I think the weather is, 'cause if you have like this may gray in the morning and it's like, I think people go out the night before and they also, I don't know. It's not, it's either way, it is not crowded and it's not hard to get. Court, Diana, she has traditionally gone there around seven.

The first year I did it, and then after that it was Diana. Um, she's gone in around seven and every year she has her pick of courts. Literally nobody else is there. So this year we were setting up games. It was Lex, Brie, Diana, myself, and Lex. Brie and Diana were like, oh, should we get there early? What, what about getting in court?

And I literally just screenshotted the past four years, my little notes journal entry pulled up with the receipts, if you will. And uh, they all laughed and I was like, yo, don't worry about it. Like, get there at seven. It's totally fine. You don't have to get there any earlier that you don't have to put any lines out the night before.

So Dee said she would keep with tradition and she went at seven and once again she had her pick of the courts. I will say there was one court that we could not get, but we can never get because I think they came out the night before and it's totally fine 'cause the rest of the courts work out just fine.

Um, but either way, all that to say. The same stuff comes around every single year. So yes, write it down so you're not surprised, right? But the main message for today is actually to understand how each each season shows up and what I believe you know, each season is really designed for and intended for based on what nature, honestly, based on nature.

So I actually wrote about this to my mafia, and I'm sharing it here again. And I say again 'cause I've also done previous episodes about this. Um, but sharing it again because I know people forget, you know, even if you've heard it once, once, it's never, uh, and it's important to me. The seasonality, spirituality concept is very important to me.

So Summer, let's talk about it. What is it for? It's for being present. Right. Just look at what nature doing is doing. Right? It's out there looking all sexy. It's blooming, it's blossoming, right? It's for so much for being outside. It's for soaking up the sun. It is stone fruit. Seasoned folks, this is my favorite.

Gimme a peach. Gimme a plum. Fucking love it. And they come on. They are truly the poster children for summer. They're all juicy and delicious. You think of a peach, you think of a plum, you think of summer. Right. Summer is about savoring the moment. Side note, if you're gonna have some peaches, put 'em on the grill.

You are gonna have watermelon. Put it on the grill. Absolutely delicious. I did it last night. If you need a recipe, go ask Chachi pt. That's what I did because why do we go on the internet anymore? You know if you go search something, it's gonna get that long ass story about Grandma's Apron and some shit.

You can skip that. You can literally just ask Chachi B team and be like, I'm making this. I don't know how to make it. I wanna make it in the next five minutes and I'll have time to marinade shit overnight. What's minimal ingredients, maximum taste. Give it to me and it'll do it. Right. So let me hit that online business angle before we wrap this up and Yeah, but keep it shorter this episode.

Why? Because I want you to start going outside. Save the save for the days. I know it's not officially summer, but like it's summer here. If you are a southern hemisphere counterpart, well then save this episode for a few months from now. Uh, but that online business angle, a few things to remember as we head into summer, and these are things that happen every year, every summer business slows down why people are on social media, way less.

People are outside more, right? They go on vacation. They're not only on social media, people have more time objections to things. I, I saw it and I anticipated it when I was launching, uh, press publish. And I knew, I'm like, people are gonna be away. They got things to do. It's fine. People aren't as inclined to take on big new projects.

It's fine. I just go in remembering that. I go in thinking about that and manage your expectations accordingly. And also you, yourself live into that. Savor the moment. Be in the moment. Enjoy the moment, right. I get it. Some of you, many of you may have to work. I get it. Right. But there's still other times that come about.

Savor it and write it down so that maybe next year, if you are your own boss, you can allot things. Hopefully that allow you to have more time in the summer to just do what you wanna be doing and lean into it and not feel guilty about it. Right. Or actually just be able to choose that 'cause you don't have a client or whatever.

Alright. But. To wrap this up, we know we're experience. We're living through it every single fucking day. It's some new horrendous shit that this administration is doing. So no, you're not escaping this episode without me bringing up some politics in some way. Right? Every day something new and folks will say that we live in a democracy.

It's, it's in reality, it's a democratic republic. But when people say that. And the sentiment there. You gotta understand that the rights and the freedoms that they want, that you want, that they're talking about, that you're thinking of, they are products of participatory democracy. It's fucking annoying.

It is. I don't want to do this shit, but we have to participate in building and maintaining and sustaining and fighting for the democracy that we want, the rights that we want, the freedoms that we want. I get it. It's annoying. Straight up. But that's the reality, right? To that end. Summer isn't about burying your head in the sand and being like, I don't see anything.

It's fine. No summer's about, to me recharging it is about savoring and enjoying the moment and the moments so that you remember what you're fighting for so that you fucking have energy to keep going. Right. Alright, I'm gonna wrap it up there. Maybe I'm gonna go make some watermelon on the grill. I don't know.

It's still early. I love it 'cause it's long ass days as always. Endlessly, endlessly appreciative for every single one of you. I know it's getting to summertime. There's things you could be doing and you're still got me in your ears or in your eyes if you're watching it on YouTube and I truly do appreciate it.

So got any requests, anything like that? You know where to find me. Hit me up on Instagram, shoot me a text. 3 1 0 7 3 7 2 3 4 5. Love hearing from you. Alright, gonna wrap it up here. As always, endlessly appreciative for every single one of you. Until next time, friends Maestro. Ah.
