Now, clearly this applies to bigger things, but if we break down individual movements, the same principle holds true. Blowing through a movement as fast as you can means you’re likely skipping the parts you suck at…and not getting any better at them.
Yup, you guessed it. More musings courtesy of my foray into @marcusfilly’s #AwakenTrainingSeries. That tempo work is no joke. Moar time under tension, moar time spent in positions you usually skip, moar time spent working on things that you’re bad at…moar better.
Take home: Skip the work, skip out on the gains. Plain and simple.
