One of my favorite integration drills to work on foot, ankle, knee, hip, and midline stability. Just check out all that foot action! The half kneel position challenges the “core”, and moving from half kneel to standing makes it that much harder as the postural demands continue to change. The band taps into RNT (reactive neuromuscular training) principles, feeding into that typical valgus collapse, hip IR, foot pronation dysfunction that we see all too often. Feed the bleed and we see reflexive activation of the muscle groups and movement patterns required to maintain a more optimal position. Progress or regress as appropriate!
