DM #264: You can throw ? against the wall and hope it sticks, or you can do a proper assessment, break stuff down, figure out what's wrong and provide the appropriate intervention.
Spent the afternoon at a dope gymnastics session by @chels_mck and the concept of breaking down movements to determine dysfunction was never more apparent. Got poor hip extension during your muscle up? Stop just trying to do more muscle ups. Can you extend your hips while on the ground? No? Well then how the hell you expect to be able to do them swinging in the air on some unstable rings? But I digress.
My point is that if you want to get better at something, whether it's a movement or being pain-free, figure out what the heck is going on in the first place. The shotgun approach can fix things but who doesn't love a sharpshooter?
