Played around with some banded pulls today.
I've got a terrible tendency to lose tension in my upper back and shoot my hips up in an effort to create the best stripper pull on the west coast ?. Using the band provides the external cue and resistance to help remind me/promote better positioning. Aka keeping my chest more upright, my upper torso more engaged, and a continuous push through the floor. Not gonna lie, I like the cue “first push” better than “first pull”. To each their own.
Feet might be a little wider than I typically set up but then again maybe not. I seem to change it up every time I snatch. Just trying to figure things out and enjoy the process.
Yes, I realize you can set this up with dumbells or the rig, but I like this setup suggestion from @justinvandyke better. I'm not trying to lug those heavy ass dumbells around ?. Overall a fantastic day playing in the sun with the squad. Wouldn't trade this Cali life for anything. ? cred: @queenb_fitmom ❤️ Like it? Repost it. Don't understand it?
