Not here to tell you how much you should be sleeping or give you exact numbers. I’m just simply relaying a message that we all likely instinctively know by now, yet continue to tell ourselves “I’ll catch up this weekend.”

The concept of recovery is a hot ticket item right now. Lots of press, lots of gadgets. But honestly, you don’t need a watch or an app to tell you that your body NEEDS rest (but if you do have one of those cool gadgets, more power to you. Just make sure you rule the tool not the other way around.) If your body is asking for a recharge…do it.
