DM #608: Let’s break it down for just a second, shall we?
—
Had such a dope conversation with @corleyrose today after class, and some iteration of this tumbled out. ? So simple. So logical. So no need to write “…but” in the comments ?.

I’ve said it a million times, “you’ll never rest your way to full recovery.” Yes, you gotta let that thing heal, but then, you gotta put it to work. Gradually, step-wise, intelligently…but work it you must.

All these techniques we learn, these courses we take, the real goal is to simply learn ways that we can make it safe to load tissues. Plain and simple. We learn ways to open neurological windows and keep them open longer. Why? So that we can get out of pain and move. What’s movement? Loading of tissues. That is why no single course is the answer; why no single technique is a panacea. They’re all just means, not the end.

So, the bottom line remains simple. Heal, then load. The steps you take to get between the two is up to you. Just here to provide that 10,000 foot view. Thanks for the dope chat, Corley. ❤️
