@unshakenperformance reposted DM #606, and then dropped this bomb in the comments section. That DM (a quote by @mobophysio) stated: “Sometimes you just need to build muscle instead of spending months working on movement patterns.” Aka, don’t let the pendulum swing too far.

Joe has hit the nail on the head. Strength is never a bad thing if you have earned the right to be there. Meaning, it has not come at the expense of your mobility, aerobic capacity, and general movement. If you can benchpress 500 lbs but can’t run a mile, can’t squat, can’t play with your kids, can’t move like a healthy human…well, then it’s a weakness.
