I’m all about resets. Check out @original and @dani for some great ones. But, we must remember that these are just a piece of the puzzle. If a certain movement causes you issues, unless you work on retraining THAT movement, it will continue to bug you. Yes, the carry-over effect is very real, but the SAID principle is undeniable.

Resets can be great, especially in the context of prophylaxis, aka, doing them to prevent issues that may arise from an otherwise sedentary day job. But, if you’re trying to use them to treat an issue, you’re only putting up half the battle.

So, get after your resets, but make sure you’re also looking to address the actual issue if there is one. And while you’re at it, call your mom and tell her you love her.
