MOTM #273: Strong Women Lift Each Other Up with Molly Galbraith

Monday, January 18th, 2021

This week’s episode is a really good one, so you’re gonna want to get your note taking supplies ready. Chances are you already know my guest, but if you don’t, prepare to fall in love.

Molly Galbraith is the founder of Girls Gone Strong, which she describes as “the world's largest platform providing women and health and fitness pros with evidence-based, interdisciplinary, women-specific health, fitness, nutrition, and pregnancy education through an inclusive and intersectional lens.” Incredible, right?

But Molly is so much more than that. She’s a problem solver, a doer, an inspiration and an example to women all over the world. Her book, Strong Women Lift Each Other Up (available in March, link to buy in the Show Notes), is a guide to help women reclaim their own confidence, fill their lives with purpose, and forge forward in their dreams without fear of what outside voices say. I think that’s something we could all use a little more of.

In This Episode You'll Hear:

  • A bit about Molly’s background and the beginnings of Girls Gone Strong
  • Being a life-long problem solver
  • The audacity and naiveté to fill the gap
  • Moving on from projects you used to care about
  • Molly’s current role in GGS
  • Making big asks
  • Women don’t always support women
  • What’s in Molly’s book: Strong Women Lift Each Other Up
  • Top down, bottom up, inside out, outside in
  • Small, but mighty actions that create immeasurable impact
  • There’s never been a better time to make change
