Got a question from the Mafia about what a good opening rate for email is, and it got me thinking about metrics.
I may be biased, but these “industry standard” metrics mean nothing. Fuck that noise. It’s more than okay to set number goals for yourself, but make that shit personal. Celebrate your achievements, rather than comparing yourself to everyone else, and base your goals on your own wants, needs and joys. Those are the only metrics that matter.
