DM #244: not much more to say here. Went hiking today on a pretty demanding trail, and couldn't help but reflect on what a gift we've all been given, this incredible body that we have.
You don't have to go in pound the pavement, you don't have to go and throw around weights, you don't have to do anything that one would consider to be traditional exercise. But you must move. You must. We were not designed to be stationary, inactive creatures. It really is use it or lose it.
Walk, run, jump, roll, swing, skip, crawl, twirl, dance, tiptoe, moonwalk, handstand, handstand-walk, somersault…whatever makes you smile. just get out there and move. Your body will thank you.
