DM #212: Check yourself before you wreck yourself. It's as simple as that.
Address things when they first appear and stop waiting for your leg to fall off before you go and see someone. The longer you wait to address it, the longer it's going to take for it to get better.
Speaking more specifically to the point that my dude @drmarkcheng was trying to make with this statement, beating yourself into the ground day in and day out under the guise of “exercise” just isn't wise. You get stronger by recovering harder, not by crushing yourself every day. Perpetually walking around with aches and pains and mild injuries is not a badge of honor, it's a sign of poor judgement.

Definitely check out @drmarkcheng's article that inspired this DM. He speaks about exercise addiction and hits the nail right on the head. I've put the link to it in my bio ??so you have no excuse not to read it.
