If you can't squat down, step up. More work on this bum hip…in the rain. Never know what you're gonna get in Nola! Can't pass up a chance to capture my thinking process.

Just working on loading my hip at end range via initiating a step up. After my little hip injury two weeks ago, the bottom of the squat has not been a very fun place for me. Solution? Train it from the other direction.
I could progress this by using a higher step and really getting into that bottom position, or by fully stepping up. Here I'm still allowing the opposite let to remain on the ground, but doing my best to put most of my weight though my right leg. And puhlease don't come at me with anything about my knee being in front of my toes. That's what happens at the bottom of a squat ?
