EARN the right to wear lifters. Please stop wearing them all the time, for every single workout, to make up for your shitty mobility. If you can't squat AT ALL without them, then you honestly shouldn't be squatting at all with them. You're setting yourself up for injury.

Don't get me wrong, lifters are great and have their place. Absolutely. For those of you who aren't aware, weightlifting shoes are great because they have a heel, which means we get more “relative” ankle dorsiflexion. Our tibia can lean forward more which allows us to keep our torso more upright, and subsequently keep that bar in a better position. Really good ?. But honestly, something that should be earned, not abused.

So, by no means telling you to go throw away your lifters, just telling you to make sure you have the mobility to be wearing them in the first place.
