DM #328: Things don't just get tight for no reason. You've lost stability. You've injured something. You were immobilized. SOMETHING happened.
—
So, yes, address the symptoms. Perhaps with IASTM, foam rolling, active stretching, whatever. But go back and figure out why that ? got tight in the first place!
—
Remember, in the absence of prolonged immobilization or direct trauma, loss of mobility (tightness) at an area is typically preceded by loss of stability somewhere else.
—
So, treat the symptoms but find and fix the cause. Tightness, it's just a symptom. Don't forget that.
