MOTM #094: How to Change a Life with Jillian Loyden

Monday, February 25th, 2019

I’m just gonna come out and say it: I know some pretty freakin' amazing people. Brought Jillian Loyden, an old friend of mine on for this episode. This woman is a former member of the US Women’s National team, having gone to both the World Cup AND the Olympics, and competed at the professional level in the states for the WPS. You might be asking yourself, “What the heck does a professional soccer player have to do with me?” Well, my tunnel-visioned friend…everything. Life lessons come in all different forms, and it’s my goal to bring on those people who have figured out a way to take what they’ve learned and make moves…some truly inspiring moves.

Join me for one of my most inspiring episodes to date, and hear how Jill has created not one but two organizations that change people’s lives, both on and off the field.

In this episode you'll hear:

  • Why Jill started The Keeper Institute
  • How TKI facilitates personal growth and character development – SO MUCH MORE THAN JUST PLAYING SOCCER
  • How TKI involves parents within training
  • Jill’s vision for the future of TKI
  • Instagram and an abundance mindset
  • How TKI uses filming and video
  • Where the name The Keeper Institute came from
  • What Jill learned from playing at such an incredibly high level
  • Living your passion and being true to yourself
  • What it’s like doing this kind of personal development and growth work with youth
  • Creating a desirable culture and fostering intrinsic motivation
  • Jill’s three part coaching philosophy
  • How Jill has grown her staff
  • The evolution of the business side of TKI
  • Finding time for self-care and balance
  • What it’s like being an ESPN commentator
  • Parting words that you absolutely do not want to miss
